My thoughts on life, Christianity, pop culture and dealing with breast cancer... but not necessarily in that order.

Goodbye Maria
For those of you who have been following the tragedy surrounding the Steven Curtis Chapman family, here is a description of the memorial service for Maria. She passed away a few days ago when she was struck by an SUV at her home in Nashville.
My wife told me about it. I am so sorry. . . may, those who there and those who witnessed the tragedy be comforted. It was an accident. . . If she could speak from the grave I imagine she would say, “Don’t be so sad, It’s ok... I’m in good hands. Thanks for loving and caring for me. . . see you all soon.” Many children are with the Lord and they will never grow old or weary in His everlasting arms. Our bodies and lives are so fragile we are here in our tents, we move and then we are gone. . . yet our souls are so precious that God sent His only son for us. He wants us to be under wing, comforted as we comfort others in love, piece and understanding. His grace and mercy is without boundary is extended to the living who will be washed in Him?
We can all learn from it. You may wish to read my new essay on the Steven Curtis Chapman tragedy, ‘From Grief to Grace’ – http://frankahilario.blogspot.com/
